• Covers three areas:
  • Cultivation (brown) – environmental impact of farming: soil, water, biodiversity, fertilizers.
  • Production (violet) – energy use, climate impact, packaging, waste, water treatment.
  • Working conditions (orange) – fair labour, wages, safety, human rights.
• Colour codes are shown on price tags in stores for quick consumer guidance.
• Aims to increase transparency, help consumers make informed choices, and encourage producers to adopt broader sustainability certifications.Organic
